In the 31st century, cows are extinct, much like anchovies, and seem to be known as a delicacy according to Amy (1ACV06). They were most likely brought back by the Last Encyclopod (ItWGY).
Cows in Futurama
- "A Fishful of Dollars" (1ACV06)
- "Fry and the Slurm Factory" (1ACV13)
- The Slurm Queen points out that milk comes from a cow's behind to defend the secret behind Slurm. Whether she actually remember cows is not known.
- "Love and Rocket" (4ACV03)
- Fry references "space cows". Whether or not these are an alien species of cows, or even real at all, is unknown.
- "Jurassic Bark" (4ACV07)
- The Clone-O-Mat is set on cow mode.
- "The Late Philip J. Fry" (6ACV07)
- "That Darn Katz!" (6ACV08)
- Professor Fisherprice Shpeekenshpell proved that a cow says "moo" fifty years ago and is still coasting it.
- "The Owner of Mars Attacks!" (US#003)
- Wong Ranch is seen to hold Buggalo, cows, kangaroos and at least one horse. This was almost certainly a mistake by the issue's artist.
- "Claw and Order" (US#048)
- The Organ Dealer's clone tries to sell a cow.

By the year 10000, the cows will have their own version of the Statue of Liberty.
